Dan Gissinger

Role

Dan Gissinger is a Managing Director in PJ SOLOMON's Debt Advisory & Restructuring Practice. He joined the firm in 2016.

Experience

Mr. Gissinger has over 18 years of distressed debt advisory and buyside experience, specializing in restructuring complex capital structures with a focus on value maximization and generation. Before joining PJ SOLOMON, Mr. Gissinger served as a Senior Managing Director at Heritage Global, where he was responsible for sourcing engagements and executing transactions for Heritage Equity Partners, the firm's special situations division. Prior to that he spent 10 years at Houlihan Lokey in its Financial Restructuring Group, advising public and private companies as well as their creditors and other key stakeholders on debt restructurings and other special situations.

Mr. Gissinger began his career at Morgan Stanley as an Analyst in the mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings group, and subsequently spent time at two investment firms. His work has been focused at various levels of the capital structure and has spanned a range of industries, with prominent representations in the real estate, energy, hospitality and retail sectors.

Education

Mr. Gissinger graduated magna cum laude from Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
