Natixis Adds Leading Chief Economist, Joseph Lavorgna for The Americas

We are pleased to share the news that leading economist Joseph Lavorgna has joined our principal shareholders, Natixis as Chief Economist for the Americas.

Mr. Lavorgna has over 25 years of financial services experience and served most recently as Chief U.S. Economist of Deutsche Bank AG/Securities. Previously, Mr. Lavorgna was an economist at Lehman Brothers, UBS Securities, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He is an Institutional Investors All-Star ranked economist and a frequent CNBC contributor.

In his role as Natixis’ Chief Economist, Mr. Lavorgna will direct the economic research team for the Americas, as well as promote Natixis’ Cross Asset Research in the region, including for foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and equity markets globally.

The appointment of Mr. Lavorgna builds upon our ability to best serve our clients through our partnership with Natixis.
